Table Runner

I saw this fabric sampler at a upholstery shop and I got quite a few bargains.
It's really lovely good quality fabric.
So many different colours and textures.
It was my lovely neighbours 40th so I thought I would make a table runner with coasters as they have a beautiful huge dining table and also have red curtains so it will all match really well.

I should've taken a photo with a better background rather than our cork floor!!
But I was really happy with the end result. I patch worked it all then put a backing on it and sewed lines through to flatten it out.

Puzzle Balls

Would you love to make one of these...

My Boys.

Lots of photo's I know but I couldn't really pick out my favourites. Last week down the beach, as you can see it was very cold but still lots of fun.
And I was again playing with the camera settings and I love the different colours in the sky.

School Holiday Projects.

Here are some images from the blog El hada de papel. It has so many activities for kids to do with just things you find around the house. You'll wonder why you never thought of them before.
Wow a catapult. The boys would love these!

Eriko Bird Bag.

I saw this bag a long time ago and loved it. It's by Eriko and there is a black and red one with crochet wings which is so cute. I thought i'd try to make one for Stevie.
So I started with the wings...

 then the body....
and tried a zipper. So have NOT got that figured out!! But it works so that's the main thing.
and Voila, not to bad I think.

Stevie did love it but I made the straps a bit too long for a 5 year old. May have to try another one.
