Night Out.

Want to hear something amazing. Michael and I spend a night out together...ALONE. We have been meaning to do this for ages and thanks to Mike's mum and sister for looking after the kids we spent a night in the city. It's been about 4 and a half years since we went out so it was well over due. We stayed at The Sofitel which was beautiful and we had the most spectacular dinner at Sarti.
I cannot describe how delicious it was and it was by far the best meal I have ever had.
We had a great night and I look forward to doing it again soon.
Thanks Mike, Love you x x
Our view.
There was a wedding taking place below in the park, it was lovely to watch. You could see the bridal party walking across the grass to the ceremony.

And I  haven't seen one of these in a few years either so I had to have a go, no surprise I didn't win.

Woolly Fish

I found this at Betz White and she used Mimi Kirchner's pattern. I think that is a beautiful fish and I love the frilled fins. (Check outMimi's etsy shop, she's an amazing talent!)

The Law of the Wild

Kill only when you are hungry

Photographer Michel Denis-Huot, who captured these amazing pictures on safari in   Kenya 's Masai Mara in October last year, said he was astounded by what he saw:

"These three brothers (cheetahs) have been living together since they left their mother at about 18 months old,' he said. 'On the morning we saw them, they seemed not to be hungry, walking quickly but stopping sometimes to play together. At one point, they met a group of impala who ran away. But, one youngster was not quick enough and the brothers caught it easily."

These extraordinary scenes, followed.

And then, they just walked away without hurting him!

May your day be filled with blessings, love and hugs.
Life is short... forgive quickly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably...and never regret anything that made you smile!!

Send to me from Harry, Thank you. x

The Fair

We went to Western Port Festival on the weekend and the kids had a ball! Apart from the rain it was a lovely way to spend a few hours watching the kids be..well......kids.

Fruit and Bump

I LOVE this series of self-portraits that photographer Carolee Beckham is making to document her pregnant belly. In each installment, she features the piece of fruit that is comparable to the size of her growing baby. Above are weeks 14 (baby's the size of a lemon), 15 (baby's the size of an apple), and 16 (baby's the size of an avocado). What a simple yet inventive twist on the typical bump update concept! I look forward to following along through the coming months.
Found from the awesome  Marvelous Kiddo.

Jane Foster Cushions

These gorgeous cushion are by Jane Foster. You can buy these and lots of goodies at her site.

Howling Wolf

A set I made for a friends boy. The pants I LOVE. I should've bought more of that fabric and made a boys quilt.

Embroidery Inspiration.

I found all these at feeling stitchy. There are lovely tutorials for everyone to easily follow.

Smallest Forest from Etsy is super talented with that embroidery. Very clever.

What a wonderful way to use embroidery stitches, don't you think?
So simple and sweet. Very inspiring!

All I can say here is WOW!!!!!!My favourite embroidery patterns of 2010

Monster Set

I made these for a friends little boy. I love the grey fabric, I have made Loch a hoodie out of that before and was so glad when I found I had some more. I used freezer paper to stencil the monster.

 Just got this pic before......
 Jimmy took it away.

Stella McCartney Kids

I think I love everything about the newly launched Stella McCartney Kids collection.

Our Garden

Everything is getting a little over grown now in the veggie patch, like the herbs they have gone crazy. Here's little Perdie with some fresh produce.

I sadly chopped the giant sun flowers down and am drying out the heads so I can eat the seeds and keep lots for next year. Our neighbours had a lot going over their fence and they said it looked like Italy!!

Free ABC download.

I’m loving this Alphabet Poster from My Poppet. And best of all, it’s free to download and print! Am going to do that right now…

Solely for Twins

Tot-a-Lot, the new Spanish brand from mother-of-twins Lourdes Ferrer, caters exclusively to the twin market with her ‘double’ designs. All of the clothing in her shop is exclusively sold in pairs, and she takes the idea of ‘matching clothes’ one step further as she cleverly plays with prints, colours and patterns to let two similar but essentially different garments complement each other in fun ways. Also very cool: the clothes are shipped in fun boxes with double compartments which can be re-used as twin storage boxes.

My Loch

Some pics of my handsome boy Lachie. As you can tell i'm experimenting with my camera a bit. Camera on my iphone that is, so amazing the quality of the shots.
He's such a beautiful natured little boy.

Famille Summerbelle Print

Julie from Famille Summerbelle has done it again. Another beautiful print of her hand-cutting genius. This Love Bugs print is so pretty — and how cool is that little spider hanging down! I love it!

Nümph

I'm in love with all of these looks from danish line nümph. The colours and prints are gorgeous!!
